Sta Courses
Courses with Separate Training & Assessment
We provide the training and you are then assessed by an independent assessor from the NPTC.
There are many courses from which to choose, some of the most commonly run include:
- Felling Small Trees (380mm diameter)
- Felling Medium Trees (380mm- 760mm diameter)
- Climb Trees & Perform Aerial Rescue
- Chainsaw Training - Operate Chainsaw from a Rope & Harness
- Tree Identification and Pruning Techniques
- Crown Dismantling Operations (Rigging, Lowering & Speedlining)
All the courses also cover aspects of safety training at work.
DURATION and FEES
The CLMC 44X is the most commonly run course because all operators need these NPTC units to work in this industry. Also, this course much be taken BEFORE any further STA courses can be undertaken.
