Our courses
We are market leaders – running courses recognised by Lantra, NPTC (National Proficiency Test Council), CTP (the Career Transition Partnership), and ELCAS (the Enhanced Learning Credit Administration Scheme). All of our tree surgeon instructors are Lantra and NPTC qualified in addition to the many years of industry experience in the subject areas they teach.
We have an exceptionally high pass rate of NPTC City and Guilds tree surgery and climbing courses – 95% of our last 500 candidates passed their NPTC assessments at the first attempt. Group numbers are limited to 4, so candidates receive plenty of individual attention during their course. Students on our Combination Courses are accommodated on-site at our training centre, where they can study together in the evenings. This ‘atmosphere of learning’ is enormously helpful when preparing for assessments. We arrange the NPTC assessments to follow straight on at the end of the course so candidates benefit from being on a familiar site, using familiar equipment.
We offer very competitive ‘all-in’ packages, which can include equipment hire and accommodation.
